Overview of the classes

We have also made changes to our class names for the coming term. Below you will see the changes in form.

When you feel comfortable with what is being taught in class, ask your instructor if you are ready to move on to the next level, or what you need to work on more.

POLE LEVEL

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

0 – for newcomers and beginners

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING, STRETCHING 1, ABSOLUTE BEGINNER (POLE), DISCOVER POLE

For students with little or no pole or aerial experience

No requirements needed (No experience)

0.5 – preparation for level 1

SKILL-DRILL 1, SENSUAL HEELS 1, POLE FLOW 

For students who are ready to level up their basic spins, learn how to hold their body weight on the pole and climbing technique

Minimum of 6 Absolute Beginner classes or have completed our 4-week Introduction course in Pole

1 – beginner

TRICKS & COMBO 1, SENSUAL HEELS 2

Ground based – Intro to aerial moves and invert training
For students who want to get used to and comfortable using the pole and hold their body weight on the pole in poses.

Performing 1-2 bacis climbs
Performing 3 different spins with two hands
Performing 5 pole crunches
Performing 1 pole pull-up OR 3 reclining pullup-slides
Step Around-Pirouette + move connected fluidly

1.5 – preparation for level 2

SKILL-DRILL 2

Preparing for Inverts

Students showing a clear understanding and adept performance of the fundamental techniques on pole level 1 classes and who wants to prepare for pole level 2.

2 – Intermediate

TRICKS & COMBO 2, CREATE & EXPLORE 2

Aerial&Inverted class
building pole foundations and essentials such as aerial invert to leg hangs and brass monkey

Students who are comfortable with one-handed spins, inverts and climbing to aerial moves like jade.

2.5 – preparation for level 3

SKILL-DRILL 3

Training for full aerialist class

Working towards shoulder mount, handspring, brass monkey

3 – Advanced

TRICKS & COMBO 3 Comfortable with aerial shoulder mount, handspring, brass monkey

Working on anything you want to challenge yourself with 🙂

Open level

EVOLVE 

Open class in which you work on your tricks and combos with supervision from our instructor

Minimum requirement is pole level 1

Self-training

SELF EXPLORATION

Self-training without instructor

Minimum requirement is level 0.5

Stretching

 STRETCHING 2

Focus on oversplit and advanced stretching moves

You have to be comfortable with bridges, front split and middle split
